• Data underlying the article ‘Globalisation, the Terms of Trade, and Argentina’s Expansion
  in the Long Nineteenth Century‘. This workbook contains the calculations of Argentina’s ‘part-proxy’ terms of trade for 1780-1938. The workbook supersedes the data I included in Tables DA.11-DA.17 of my PhD dissertation. Since submitting my dissertation, I have made the following changes: (1) included hide prices for 1841; (2) corrected hide prices for 1823; (3) corrected French export prices (Px) for 1926-38; and (4) interpolated the gaps in Broide and Alvarez’ monthly series.
